The LensMaster Gimbals

Although there are many Gimbals on the market they all serve one purpose, that is to allow the user to quickly and smoothly move the camera/lens into a different position . 

The Lensmaster Gimbal can do this with ease it is extremely smooth when either Panning or moving the lens vertical and you have full control over how free you want it, by simply turning the adjuster knobs.

It only takes a slight turn to set the friction no more than 1/4 turn is ever required so it is very quick to setup and use . It does not lock solid in either plane but does tighten just enough to stop the lens flopping about when moving your setup, I find this to be safer for the simple reason if you should knock your camera/lens it will move, if it were to be locked solid there's a greater chance of breaking something as it wont give.

There are many debates over what gimbal is best I have tried quite a few of them over the years some costing hundreds of pounds but iv yet to find one that does the job any better of tracking moving subjects than the Lensmaster.

In Gimbal demonstration videos we all swing them around and do the 1 finger up and down and panning movement this does show just how free they are but in day to day use you would never want or need your gimbal to be that free it just isn't necessary and any wind would just blow it round not a good thing to have your lens facing your chest.

The Lensmaster Gimbal is easy to maintain simply wash in warm soapy water dry and add a little grease to the outer bearings. The super smooth main bearings and shaft are maintenance free and never need oil or grease.

There are 2 Aluminium models to choose from the lightweight RH-1 Sidemount or the RH-2 full gimbal .

As with the RH-2 The RH-1 sidemount has its own rotating collar so no ballhead is required both models do exactly the same job and it really is personal preference over which one you chose weight been the biggest factor followed by how the lens / camera attaches, as long as care is taken neither is any safer than the other too mount the lens, side mounting just feels a little more awkward, more so with a heavy lens until your use to it ,with either it is essential the lens is clamped before letting go also with a sidemount you do need a lens that has a rotating collar.

A sidemount Gimbal needs a lens fitted with a rotating collar .

Each Gimbal is hand made assembled and fully tested before being shipped. The maximum load for the RH-1 and RH-2 is 10kg the sidemount RH-1 has been tested up to 50 LBS static load and the RH-2 has been tested to 100 LBS static load.
